Results of 2006 Golf Tournament

On May 13, 2006, the George's Creek Watershed Association's First Annual Golf Tournament took place at the Maplehurst Country Club in Frostburg, MD. The tournament style of play was a four-player "best ball' scramble comprised of 18 teams in competition for the winning score. No one won the hole in one prize, but Mr. William Freeman won the raffle prize, a high quality putter donated by the Golf Pro.

The winners of the tournament were: Joe Marsh, Brad Thomas, Greg Turner and Bill Bond who shot 58 for the low gross category and Bill Evans, Jack Parker, Rod Bell and Kevin Grove who had an impressive low net score of 52.

Last year's golf tournament fundraiser was a success with great prizes, sponsorship and great weather. We extend our gratitude for the support by our prize donors, volunteers, sponsors, golfers and the Maplehurst Country Club.
